The maximum for 1 general is six, unless he also triggers the friend/family type tactic. I haven't seen that, so it may not be possible. As for how - I linked a pile of enemies with Pang Tong (Fire Volley II), and started it behind him with Wei Yan.I am playing Wei now. Wei always bothered me in the original because they had so many good and important generals, and you had to choose who to leave behind while you leveled up your main army group. Yu Jin, Yue Jin, Dian Wei, Xiahou Yuan, and even Cao Ren were usually no better than level 3 for the final chapter in my games - Dian Wei should have been the menace, I wouldn't have minded cutting Xu Zhu nearly as much. I am hoping to have to use the whole army like in my Shu game.I don't know anything about the epilogue yet.
You have to finish both of Sun Ce's main story lines., Dynasty Tactics 2 for the Playstation 2. With Beau Billingslea, Steve Blum, John DeMita, Richard Epcar. Dynasty Tactics ( Sangokushi Senki?) is a series of strategy games for the Sony PlayStation 2. The titles are set in the same time-period as several of Koei's other series, including the action-oriented Dynasty Warriors series and the strategy Romance of the Three Kingdoms series.
Ma Teng wrote.I don't know anything about the epilogue yet.To unlock Liu Bei's epilogue you must first play as LuBu, when Caocao send you a letter to attack Yuan Shu ignore it and then when Chen Gong advice you to leave Xia Pi you must go that way. The ending will be Zhang Liao makes Lu Ling Qi unconscious and then Lu Bu and his daughter escape from Caocao's armyTo unlock Caocao's epilogue you must finish Liu Bei's epilogueTo unlock Sun Ce's epilogue you must choose to attack Caocao and then Sun Ce will get ambushed by Huang Zu.
Sun Quan replaces him, and when Sun Quan decides to attack Huang Zu your strategist Zhang Zhao, I guess suggests you to meet a genius doctor Hua Tuo in Wu to cure his brother's injury. Hua Tuo will appear as mystic in Wu and only Sun Quan himself can meet him. Unfortunately Bandits kidnapped the doctor, you must save him and then finish this chapter. Ending from this way will be battle of Chi Bi and China split into three kingdomTo unlock Lu Bu's epilogue you must finish Sun Ce, Caocao and Liu Bei's epilogue. I haven't know what's the ending for Lu Bu's epilogue I hope he can achieve unification at last.Sage Posts: 274 Joined: Tue Jun 10, 2003 8:20 am.
PROFESSOR WORM'S SUN CE WALKTHROUGHFOR DYNASTY TACTICS IIPretend that's a big fancy ASCII art, and that you are very impressedwith how much work I put into it.-.IntroductionThis walkthrough is mostly spoiler free, except where it's necessaryto understand the plot in order to get different endings. It will nottell you what will happen in any cinematics, however. Nor will it giveyou any strategies as to how to fight the battles.Sun Ce has three endings. The first two are unlocked by playing theregular game, and making various descisions at the plot fork in chapter2. The third ending is the 'epilogue', which is unlocked by playingScenario 1 and following the various instructions that are explained inthe walkthrough. Also, this FAQ was written on Intermediate difficulty.

Majordifferences between it and the easier and harder settings are the ammountof turns you have to accomplish a chapter, and the ammount of rounds youhave to meet in battle objectives to earn items. So if you are playing onBeginner, you'll have more turns to accomplish your goals than I havelisted. If you're playing on advanced, you'll have less.-.FundamentalsBarracks Skills - In order to make your generals stronger, they willneed better tactics than the ones they often start with. You earn'craft', which is money, by defeating enemy units in battle. This is usedat the Barracks when you visit town in order to purchase new tactics. However, in order to get more and better tactics available at thebarracks, you must take over more cities, towns and villages to get them. Thus I have listed where to get tem, and you should always take over mosteverything you can before finishing a chapter.Mystics - Mystics are not random.
The places where they appear ineach chapter are the same every time you play, and so is what they willteach or give to you. All you need to do is move an army or a spy to thelocation where a mystic is, and wait until the next round so that one ofyou generals can visit them in town.
Upon doing this, they will do one offour things.Teach you a skill - This is their best feature. Mystics teach skillsthat you can never learn at the barracks, all of which are very powerfuland sometimes hard to use. For this, make sure you only use your bestgenerals to learn tactics that they will excell with, and try not to givethe same one too many overpowered skills or you will have a moredifficult time getting the most use out of them.Give you an Item - It doesn't matter who you send for this. Themystic will simply give you an item which you can then equip to anygeneral you please.Heal Your army - This is nice, but not really essential. I believehe heals your entire army however, and not just the ones in his location. So it might not be a bad idea to send a spy onto these locations and justleave them there, so that if you ever do come out of a battle prettymangled, you can just use the mystic when necessary. Sadly, he'll only doit once.No One Home - Now, I'm kind of confused about this one. Just becausethe mystics are not there in this FAQ, doesn't mean they don't give yousomething.
In fact, I believe they are redundant means of getting itemswhich you may have missed earlier in the game, or items which I may havealready unlocked in previous games which are now available anytime youstart a new one. So just because I list a mystic as 'no one home' in thisFAQ, you might want to check for yourself just to be safe.Conditional Prizes - Sometimes when you get into a major battlerelating to the plot, you will see certain prize conditions listed at thebegining. Just meet those conditions during the battle, and you willinstantly get a new item. Simple, no?-.Hints and TipsTraining: It helps to understand the mechanics of how generalschoose who they will randomly train with when you send them to aTownsquare, and it's very simple. Generals in an army with other generalswill ONLY train with other generals in that or another army.
Generals whoare not assigned to any job or are currently spys will ONLY train withgenerals who are also not asigned to any jobs or are currently spys. What this means is that you can control training, if you know whoyour best generals are for teaching other's high stats. All you need todo is put your best teachers in charge of an army, then put the othergeneral you want to train in with him/them. It doesn't matter how manyother people are in that location, so long as they aren't in anotherarmy. He will only train with the teachers you have him assigned with. Then all you have to do is save the game, take that general to thetownsquare, and then reload the game until he trains.Your best generals for training others are Sun Ce (Trains 5 War, 5Leadership and 2 Int) and Zhou Yu (Trains 5 Int, 4 Leadership and 3 War).I personally use Zhou Yu exclusivly, but that's your call. This is all time consuming, however, and not really necessary. But Ifelt I should mention it.NOTE. I finally finished my experimental game, (After about a yearand a half) in which I only had 19 total generals but had trained themall up to perfect 100 in all stats.
The end game assessment 'likened youto Zhou Yu', which I had recieved before. Also, the item I recived uponbeating the game wasn't anything special. It was worth a try.Lu Meng: You may be a bit disapointed when you first get Lu Meng inyour army. His level is low, and so are his stats, and at this point inthe game you probably already have an army's worth of high levelgenerals. It hardly seems worth using him. DO NOT BE MISLED. Here's whatyou need to do.In Chapter 3, you should find Lu Su as a civilian in a town justsouth and west of your capitol.
Then continue with the gameuntil Lu Meng joins you, which he will do automatically. He and whoeveryour leader is should have a conversation about how he is reckless. Now then, with both Lu Su and Lu Meng in the same city, select Lu Suand take him to the townsquare.
He and Lu Meng will have a conversation, where Lu Su lays into Lu Meng about not living up to his potential. Now save the game, and reset the machine. Simply reloading your gamewon't work, you have to reset the PS2. As soon as you load your gameafter doing this, Lu Meng will start talking about how he was moved by LuSu's words. Normally this would happen after you've finished a round, butby resetting the machine you've just sped it up by a turn. At leastthat's how it worked for me.The next round, make sure Lu Su and Lu Meng are in the same city, just like before, and once again take Lu Su to the townsquare. He and LuMeng will talk again, only this time he is finally applying himself tohis studies.
Lu Meng will gain 5 intelligence from this conversation. What does all this do? Nothing really, other than beinteresting. Lu Meng is still extremely good! He can use all mannerof great classes, and his stats (Especially his Int) go up by pretty goodammounts each level. By the time I had topped him out at level 15, hislowest stat was a 78!Sun Ce's Campaigns-.First Battle: Have Sun Ce personally attack Taishi Ci. (Not with atactic) A small cinematic will play, and you will be able to recruit himafter the battle, instead of a few chapters later.
